The Harrogate International Festival launched tonight (30th June 2011) in some considerable style with John Wilson conducting the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
John Wilson joined the stage at the Royal Hall and after looking around then hall, commented “it was perhaps the most beautiful music hall in Britain.”
They were joined on stage by soloists Kim Criswell and Gary Williams.
