Police are appealing for information following the theft of a trailer in the Bedale area.
It was taken from John H Gill’s garage, Leeming Bar (between Bedale and Northallerton) at around 2.30am on Wednesday 8 June 2011 when burglars broke into a secure storage area.
The beavertail style trailer, valued at around £2,000, is distinctive as it is only one of two of this particular design that were manufactured. It bears two red stickers with the word “Logic” and two yellow stickers bearing the words “supplied by John H Gill” and giving the address details of the garage.
PC Jim Egan, of the Boroughbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “As this is only one of two trailers of this particular design I believe that people will recognise it.
“I ask anyone with any information about the burglary or anyone who has seen the trailer since it was stolen to contact me immediately.”
