Dewsbury Coroners are appealing for the relatives of 70-year old Albert Parker to come forward.
Mr Parker died at Dewsbury District Hospital on Saturday 11 June.
He had been a resident at a care home in Mirfield as well as others in the Pontefract and Castleford areas over the years.
It is believed that Mr Parker had a brother, but it is not known where this brother lived.
