Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic accident which occurred on the A64 York Road, Burmantofts, Leeds this morning (25 May 2011).
At around 8.40am, near to the junction of Walford Avenue, a single decker bus was travelling away from the city centre when it was in collision with a male pedestrian.
The 57 year old man was taken to the Leeds General Infirmary where he is currently in a serious but stable condition.
