North Yorkshire Police were called at around 4pm on Friday 13 May 2011, after reports of concerns for the welfare of a 22-year-old man at an address in Burdyke Avenue, York.
The man was taken to York District Hospital for treatment, however he was pronounced dead at around 4.50pm.
Officers are currently investigating the possibility that the man’s death is drug-related.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
