Airedale and North Bradford police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision, which happened at 12.40pm on Tuesday 17th May 2011 at the junction of Bingley Road and Hillings Lane, Menston.
A silver Porsche Carrera collided with a stone wall and the occupants made off from the vehicle.
The car had previously been reported as stolen earlier in the day in a burglary in Gilstead, Bingley.
Detectives are keen trace a member of the public who spoke with a uniformed police officer on Thorpe Lane having seen people running through the fields.
