A new networking group for cyclists takes to the road for its first event in the Harrogate district next month.
Bikes in Business was set up by solicitor James Martin of McCormicks in Harrogate to provide networking opportunities with a difference and held its first event in a snowy Dalby Forest earlier this year.
The next event takes place from 10.15am on Saturday 14 May and leaves Pateley Bridge car park for a 30km ride, taking in Appletreewick and the surrounding countryside.
The ride is expected to take about three hours and all levels of speed and ability are welcome, although a reasonable level of fitness is desirable given the hilly terrain.
James Martin said: “Bikes in Business has proved hugely popular and I am delighted that we already have more than 50 members. It is a great platform for informal networking and a chance to meet new businesspeople from across the region.”
