Two volleyball teams at St John Fisher Catholic High School have smashed their way through the first leg of a national volleyball competition to represent the Harrogate region at County level.
The St John Fisher teams won first and second places in the preliminary, local stage of the competition, beating teams from Harrogate Grammar, King James and Harrogate High Schools.
The dates of the County and national competitions are to be announced.
