A Harrogate Hairdresser has been chosen to work with a top international designer at London Fashion Week 18th to 22nd February.
Now top fashion designer David Koma’s, who has created extravagant dresses for Cheryl Cole and Lady GaGa will debut a new autumn/winter collection at London Fashion Week – and leading North Yorkshire hairdresser Joseph Ferraro will be there to ensure the show runs smoothly!
Joseph has been picked to style the models’ hair for one of the hottest tickets in town – the world-famous designer’s catwalk show.
As a member of the elite Sebastian Cult Team Joseph, 29, who runs hairdressers Halo, in Cheltenham Mount, Harrogate, with his business partner Chris Burton, will be working back-stage with some of the country’s top models.
He will be styling the models’ hair for David Koma’s ready-to-wear collection as part of a small team of six of the UK’s top hairdressing professionals.
In September last year, Joseph was chosen to work with designer Henry Holland at London Fashion Week – but working with David Koma is a real coup for Australian-born Joseph.
“I am delighted to be part of the Sebastian Cult Team working with David Koma at London Fashion Week. He is one of the hottest designers around at the moment and working behind the scenes at his catwalk show will be a great experience for me.
“From having worked at London Fashion Week I know it is extremely hard work, but also very exciting and satisfying to see the models walking down the catwalk with hair that I have styled,” he said.
Joseph’s date at London Fashion Week is the start of a busy year for the talented hairdresser. As part of the Sebastian Cult Team, and the prestigious F.A.M.E (Fellowship Academy for Merit and Excellence) Team, he will be combining his work at Halo in Harrogate with travelling the country taking part in photoshoots, fashion events and seminars.
Halo, in Cheltenham Mount, is a contemporary salon in the heart of Harrogate, with a team of five talented and experienced stylists including Joseph and business partner Chris Burton.
